Dr. Bartholomew F Savino, MD

Didn’t get a feel for this so called doctor until the third visit. More interested in his race cars than me.

I met Dr. Savino almost 20 years ago. I am a veteran of desert shield/storm. I had been to multiple doctors prior to me going to Dr Savino. He was the 1st doctor who agreed to read over and learn about "desert Storm" syndrome. No other doctor wanted to look or even see anything i printed up about it for them. I went to Dr Savino with so many complaints. He patiently listened to every complaint. Then together we came up with a plan to treat what was going on. He ordered multiple tests. He also sat with me and explained each one He is a true professional, he truely cares and he never gives up. He takes action when action is needed. He never pulled away when i was in a bad place he moved closer. No matter how busy he may be he never took time away from listening to me and giving a darn about me. I dislike going to other doctors sometimes because he has he has set such a high standard on what to expect while being treated. But also his partner is… a wonderful doctor as well.

I have been going to dr savino for years, always available when I'm sick. the office is very clean and well run.

Hard to find a doctor who talks down to you and minimizes your concerns and symptoms. After 4 months of emergency room visits, cardio, etc. I decided to see my primary, what can I lose? He sent me for a ct scan, that the hospital refused to do. He prescribed meds, and in a couple of days, I was feeling great.

I have been going to Dr. Savino when he took charge after Dr. Dibeneditto retired in the late 1990s. He is a kind, caring gentleman that diagnosed my throat cancer in 2005. He directed me to specialists t Sloan Kettering saving my life. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone.

Overall a luke warm reception, coupled with the fact i was serenaded by him complaining to the staff for 15 minutes!

excellent doctor and office staff. the office is well run and prefessional, dr savino was awesome, took his time with me and answered all my questions.
