His listening skills are the best. Based on examination. health Xrays and examination, he always gives several options. Surgery if needed is an option. He offered alternatives first never pushing Surgical as the only option. He actually spends time with you and gets to know your strengths as well as your limitations. His PA, is just as good. I highly recommend them as clinicians.

I am a current patient of Dr. Barton Harris. He and/or OrthoVA associates have been treating me for various orthopedic-related issues since 2013. Dr. Harris is a good listener, very hands-on, and exhibits exceptional professional skills and knowledge in this field. He is well-informed about my medical history and makes decisions accordingly. Moreover, he is well-versed and conversant in global affairs and travel --a former professional endeavor to which I dedicated a few decades. In sum, he is truly a well-rounded physician; on a personal level he is a kind and caring human being. I have great trust in his expertise and skills. I wholeheartedly recommend him for any orthopedic medical concerns!!!!

Dr. Harris is very professional and at the same time is very patient oriented and friendly. He put me at ease and thoroughly discussed what I needed. His staff is also very efficient and friendly. On this visit, I saw Dr. Harris' P.E and was immediately put at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Harris and his staff at Ortho Virginia.

Dr. Harris is a great orthopedic surgeon. He takes time to listen to you and does a through exam. With his help I've been able to continue backpacking, cycling, and all the other outdoor activities that I enjoy.
