Dr. Barton David Parish, MD

I called needing an appointment for suspected shingles on my hands, neck and face. The phone rang eight times. Someone lifted the receiver and immediately disconnected the call. I called back. The phone rang 4 times and was picked up and disconnected again. I called a third time and was immediately asked could I be placed on hold. I asked for the office manager. I was placed on hold and then told that Deana was busy and would return my call. The office manager, Deana, promptly returned my call and says she believes it was an accident because”the phones are going crazy and there’s only two girls up front”. I will not be using this physician nor this clinic. Hanging up on a customer once after eight rings MAY be an accident but hanging up on someone twice and then immediately asking to place you on hold the third time is NOT an accident. It’s poor management. I wonder if Dr Parish is aware of how his employees ‘up front’ are representing his office?

Dr. Parrish is very laid back but still knowledgeable. My husband and I both see him and we feel like he gives us great care, if there is something he is unsure about, he has no problem referring us to a specialist.

He is very rude, uncaring and unproffessional. So is the office manager {DeeAnn}. She used to be nice when she was a checkout girl, but you know what they say about a little bit of power going to your head. Big whoopee, I say---she probably makes just above or at min. wage. Besides she works for 3 losers.

I have high blood pressure and a chronic pain patient...he completely cut me off my pain meds...this will be the death of me the pain will raise my blood pressure this man has no heart and does not care

This is honestly tne worst dr. I have ever seen. Absolutely no bedside manner, and he couldn't care less about his pts. His office manager(DeeAnn) is exactly the same. Trust me, and do yourself a favor by not going to this clinic.

he is one of the rudest people I've ever met. Very poor attitude. I really don't think he likes females-how he stays married is a mystery to me! He was horrible-don't waste your time.Deeanne (office manager) was also very rude, she started screaming at me before I even had a chance to explain. Casey Powell (nurse practioner), was completely useless, she couldn't even help with a sinus infection!!!

Never look forward to going to the doctor he is in too much of a rush when he comes in he doesn't remember your prescriptions or what you're on he barely writes down the right information one time I wanted to know how much weight I have lost or gained and he didn't even have the previous visit down he'll say terrifying things about how about your condition I really don't like this guy

I have been a patient of this Dr. Parish for many years now. I have forgiven him time after time for forgetting who I am, forgetting my medications, forgetting what he prescribes but I can not handle his lack of care. He is older in age so I am not sure if its age, maybe its my age, I am a younger man, maybe he is overworked, maybe he flat out doesn't care. I can't be certain, I just know every time I have to see him I never know what doctor I am seeing, rarely he seems genuine and nice but most times he acts like your an inconvenience and his only goal is to move to his next patient. Again, maybe its just me, maybe he doesn't like me, I don't know. I just know that sadly I am now switching doctors after all these years and can't recommend him. I hope he reads this, I hope he does. I hope he treats people better. I hope he takes a deep breath when he enters a room, looks over notes carefully or more importantly, actually makes notes, wish I could see my file, may request it because for… years now he can't remember my condition/medications and its to the point where I have let it slide. I am tired of saying the same thing over and over each appointment. So Dr. Parish, if you are reading this, I really hope you take heed to my words. Either find another job or take the one you have seriously. We are more than patients, we are people, we have families, we have our own lives, worries and woes. Take an extra moment to find out who we are and why we are seeing you. I take my health seriously yet you do not. That must change. Going to miss you but at the same time, I am glad the burden of having you as a doctor is off my shoulders. Best of luck.

Dr Parish is without a doubt one of the most attentive, caring personal physicians I have ever seen in my life.

Awesome and he actually cares about his patients. Great guy and staff.
