Baruch S. Krauss, MD, EDM

Baruch Krauss, MD, EdM, is a senior associate physician in the Division of Emergency Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital and an associate professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. He specializes in pediatric emergency medicine, with internationally recognized expertise in procedural sedation, pain and anxiety management, and building trust with children during medical care. Dr. Krauss earned his medical degree from SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine and a master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and completed residency training in family medicine and pediatrics followed by fellowship training in pediatric emergency medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. His clinical, educational, and research work focuses on improving patient safety, reducing fear and distress during pediatric procedures, and advancing compassionate, child-centered approaches to emergency care.
