Dr appears to be ok. Office has a policy of creating followup office appointments without informing patient properly. When they call to remind you of your appointment (night before), and you call to cancel the appointment (because you were unaware or forgot it), they charge you for the appointment because it was not cancelled with a min 48 hours notice. This is their policy and there is no way to get out of the office charge unless you make another appointment so they can bill you and your insurance again. Be aware of the policy cause the office person is not willing to make any concessions. As far as I am concerned, stay away from this office like the plague.

I woke up during the colonoscopy! I was crying pain and scared out of my mind! It was a HORRIBLE! Thank God - no polyps. Find another Dr.

Dr. Jhawar seems competent enough. But I wouldn't see him unless you are ready for thoroughly unpleasant interaction with the office staff. The receptionist is a particularly unpleasant woman.

I would strongly recommend this doctor for his diagnosttic ability and explanation of a the disease and treatment.
