Dr. Basilia Oseguera, MD

I think Dr. Oseguera is a doctor with very little experience. The interaction between doctor and patient is very brief, and she doesn’t seem to have much knowledge about eating habits or nutrition. I didn’t feel that she took the time to understand my concerns or provide thorough guidance. What bothered me the most was that, even though some of my lab results were slightly off, she didn’t have the courtesy to ask about my lifestyle, eating habits, or exercise routine. Instead, she immediately chose the easiest route — prescribing medication — without trying to truly address or solve the root of the problem. This made me feel that she’s more interested in supporting the pharmaceutical business than actually caring about people’s health. Another very unprofessional part of my experience was how I received my lab results. They were given to me over the phone, and the clinic refused to send them by email. The person who called me was just a receptionist — not the doctor — and she was the… one who relayed the doctor’s message about putting me on medication. That’s unacceptable and shows a real lack of professionalism and care for patients. Overall, I think this doctor is very young, inexperienced, and not genuinely interested in people’s well-being.
