Dr. Basit Javaid, MD

He does not like to be asked questions. It is about him delivering his sermon. He uses the phone during visits. He has a lack of current knowledge of Nephrology.

Dr. Javaid was on the team which evaluated my health as a kidney donor. I found him extraordinarily thorough and straightforward. I felt he was the person on the team most concerned about my outcome and long-term health rather than just the source of a kidney. He took the time to answer my questions, to ask me some probing questions and to really go through my chart. He called me back when I had questions the nursing staff could not answer and really pushed to make sure that I was truly healthy rather than just meeting the basic criteria. The extra testing and delay prior to surgery was annoying and reassuring. This is the kind of doctor I wish I had in all of my care.
