Basit A. Jawad, MD

Dr. Basit Jawad specializes in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery with advanced expertise in oncology and surgical oncology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston (McGovern Medical School) and completed his residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine in 2002. Dr. Jawad pursued specialized fellowship training at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery in 2006, followed by an additional fellowship in skull base surgery and ablative head and neck oncology at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in 2004. With 26 years of experience in his field, he is fluent in Hindi, Spanish, and Urdu.

Dr. Jawad practices at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, where he focuses on complex head and neck conditions.
