Dr. Bassam Sayegh, MD

Dr. Sayegh and his extraordinary skill saved my husband’s life! He is absolutely the BEST of the BEST and without question who you want to turn to if you are ever in need of surgery. He is an incredibly skilled surgeon who is also kind and funny and has a wonderfully warm and reassuring bedside manner. We were incredibly lucky that Dr. Sayegh was the surgeon on-call when my husband came to the ER in critical condition with a ruptured Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm. Dr. Sayegh told us his chances of survival were slim but promised to do his absolute best, and did he ever! Dr. Sayegh performed nothing short of a miracle, he was able to stent the ruptured aorta and save his life! Eight days later my husband walked out of the hospital on the road to recovery and eight weeks later was able to walk our daughter down the aisle. We owe immeasurable gratitude to Dr. Sayegh and his team who made that day and every other possible! Dr. Sayegh also recently performed my appendix surgery, and those… skilled hands made both my surgery and recovery quick and easy with no pain and barely any discomfort. To Dr. Sayegh, Nicole and the entire surgical team, we could never ever thank you enough for all that you have done for our family and we are forever and ever beyond grateful!

Horrible bedside manner. 1st time I leave a doctors office crying. Had to stay in my car for a few minutes to control my self. Nurse walked in and was with me for maybe 3 minutes. They did not listen to what I had to say about the discomfort I was feeling in my abdomen. I mentioned having a mesh and he said to me “stop taking to attorneys to get a law suit, they will fill your head with garbage” And walked out of the room. I was in shock! I did not have an attorney or any intention of getting one. I was referred to him as the best but he is not. He is extremely rude! I later saw another amazing and caring surgeon who took the time to explain to me why I had discomfort. Dr. Sayegh, despite only giving me no more the. 5 min and not listening to me, charged me $600 for what he said was a 45min visit. I have worked in the medical field for over 13 years and never meet someone so incompetent and rude. All about the money not the human. If you see him and he decides to open you , it is only… for money. This I know based on other patients of his I met later. Do not go here. Oh and the staff ? Lol horrible too. Especially then billing woman, Carol.

I HAD not been a patient of Dr Sayegh until it was an EMERGENCY. He took care of my needs AFTER another wonderful doctor Dr. Syed consulted with him regarding my needs on way to EMERGENCY survey. It was DIFFICULT but Dr Sayegh and Staff brought me THROUGH. Thank you for helping me to be here and alive.

Surgery went well. He is a skilled Dr. I just didn't care for his assistant. Neither did my family. Rude. She origanally told me it wasn't my gall bladder and it was my gall bladder. She wasn't nice about it at all. Then she was nice after I had to have surgery. Not impressed with her but I am satisfied with my surgery.

Great surgeon, all business... He is like a machine....

He operated on me after my first surgeon perforated my intestine during gall bladder surgery. I thank God for him everyday.

I went to Dr Sayegh to check on a cyst that i had . He was very unprofessional from the moment i stepped into the office. He didn't even shake my hand or greet me properly. His accent was horrible and couldn't even understand my case . I am a Registered nurse and i know first thing physicians do in this case is Take a biopsy to check if its benign or malignant . Dr sayegh scared me by telling me that it can be anything and it requires surgery. I couldn't sleep that night because i thought i had cancer and was very worried.On the day of the surgery , he went into the room and started talking to the nurses instead of greeting me and my family . I remember that he didn't even draw surgery incision lines around the cyst. After the surgery , He came in and told me and my family that the cyst was benign as he expected. I was shocked when he said that because if he knew it was benign he should have saved me the fear and 10300$ that i spent for a 5 minute procedure. When i went home i went… online and found out that he graduated from University Of Damascus in Syria. Rated one of the worst medical schools in the world . For everyone reading this, please look up the DR you are going to and make sure he went to a legit medical school because he will be responsible for your health .
