Bassel H Mahmoud Abdallah, MD, PhD

Dr. Bassel Mahmoud Abdallah specializes in dermatology, bringing three decades of expertise to the diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions. He earned his medical degree and PhD from Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine in Cairo, then completed residency training at both Ain Shams University Hospital and Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Abdallah further advanced his skills through fellowship training at Lahey Clinic Medical Center. He is fluent in French, Arabic, and English.

Dr. Abdallah practices at UMass Memorial Medical Center's Hahnemann Campus in Worcester and HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital's Leominster Campus. His clinical expertise includes treating basal cell and squamous cell skin cancers, as well as managing atrial fibrillation. He performs specialized procedures such as Mohs surgery for precise cancer removal and melanoma excision. Dr. Abdallah also provides scalp laceration repair services for patients requiring wound care.
