Dr. Bassim Assioun, MD

I have had many experiences with different doctors and specialist over the years and appreciative over all of the different physician bedside manners. This visit was one of the worst experiences I have had. Dr. Assailing was very dismissive and from the moment he walked in the room (without closing the door during my visit) he gave off an irritated and inconvenient vibe. He clearly didn’t know my medical history, medications and kept making weird assumptions not inline with what I was verbally saying or what was in my chart. It became clear why he was inconvenienced that I was on his schedule because he said what I was there for a urologist or primary care can take care of. Mind you, I was referred from both my PCP and urologist considering my kidney cancer history and having 1 kidney. Have never left a review, but I would not recommend anyone who is referred to a nephrologists to Dr. Assioun. He clearly is not interested in providing patient care through his knowledge and degree.
