Dr. Beatriz Delaroche, DDS

We have a new peds dentist. Dr DeLaRoche had me lay down on the chair and hold my son while she drilled. Through his screams and squirms she told me to hold him tighter and kept telling him to stay still. It took quite a few years after we switched dentists to get him to trust the new one. I felt like I was torturing my child while restraining him. To this day I can’t understand through other parents why she is still practicing.

I took both of my young children there. We had horrible experiences with the staff. My autistic child was frightened and crying they yelled at him instead of being patient and kind, so he screamed more. They filled a cavity and it came out of his mouth three times. The last time it came out it was under 24 hours. The staff told me it was my three year olds fault. I was not happy. They even sent me a certified letter stating not to come back, that my child was scarring other patients. Since then I found a new dentist. We went there four times already and every experience has been very pleasant. If you don't have patience don't work with children.
