Dr. Beau Admire, MD

Saw Dr. Admire in the emergency room of Memorial Hospitsl. He was kind and knowledgeable. Still recovinng from a cat bite. recovering

When I was sent to the St. Vincent ER on July 31, 2017, with a diagnosed blood clot, I was taken back after a short wait. A nurse quickly came in and put an IV port in my arm. After approximately 20 minutes Dr. Admire came in. He had an arrogant, "don't care" attitude from the minute he came in, telling me that I was healthier than most of his patients. At first he claimed that he couldn't access my records. Then he left the room, returning approximately 20-30 minutes later. At this time he said he had talked with another doctor who HAD access to my records. He told me to just go home and take the blood thinner my local doctor had prescribed. When I asked why the nurse had put the port in my arm, he said he didn't know why she had done that. The nurse's name was Katie, I believe.
