Dr Becky L. Wallin, MD

Dr. Wallin was recommended to me by one of her professional friends, who was another of my doctors. I was a bit unsure due to going through so many useless Drs. I have already encountered since moving to the U.S.--unbelievable to say the least.I saw her a couple of times for myself and with one of my children. I can give her a 4 star rating. The one thing we both hated though, is that you get undressed and then she makes you sit on a chair with nothing on your bottom while she documents all her questions into her keyboard. She would not turn around to allow you to stay on the paper covered exam table so you could be "germ free" with a sheet underneath you. This felt most uncomfortable and disgusting for both my daughter and me. Another negative which I found a little odd was that she would not give me a proper breast exam during my well woman check. In over 50 years experience, I have never encountered a female doctor who was afraid to touch you so you get a professional opinion… on what you would normally only check yourself. I would rate her well woman check as a 2 star. The reason I will not see her again is only because she has just joined PAMF-Palo Alto Medical Foundation. We don't like that group practice at all and found MANY doctors in that group who fall short of a 1 star rating--important when you need referrals as we often do--so, I am back to trying to find a decent doctor in San Jose again. This really sucks.

I have never had to wait more than a few minutes. The staff is very friendly and helpful.Dr Wallin always takes the time to listen and discuss all my issues.Dr. Wallin is great! I'm glad I found her!
