The doctor was patient and understanding: prescribed a med for my kid that seems to be working much better than his previous; highly recommend...my 12 year old has adhd and behavioral issues, she was wonderful, we will be seeing her on a weekly basis from now on. She also offered to talk to his school about suggestions on how to help him. Very happy we found her.

Dr. Saad’s incompetence has potentially put my young children into harms way with her terribly performed psychological evaluation of my ex husband. She allows the person being evaluated to self-report their entire history and does not contact the other party/parent. He lied about everything and therefore her conclusion is based on him misrepresenting himself entirely. This was his SECOND court ordered psych evaluation in 5 years. I have fought long and hard to protect our kids from his poor choices, his addictions, and his inability to control his temper and abusive behaviors. If our kids are put into harms way as a result of this report, if they are allowed back into a car with their drug and alcohol addicted father, should they become injured or worse because of her faulty report, I want her to know that she will be, in part, to blame. Their blood, tears, and suffering will be on her hands as much as they are on his. The judge allowed me to send in videos pertaining to the case, and… I was supposed to have been contacted by Dr. Saad to share my experiences, but she only listened to his side of the story and never contacted me even once.

This woman had made up her mind about me before she even walked in the room. Which she tried to do twice while I was unclothed, after being asked to wait. Was in the icu at the time. Her questioning was immediately agressive and combative, and she was very clearly implying that I was faking my symptoms. I felt compelled to ask if that was what she thought and her reply was “you said it not me”. At that point I said I wouldn’t speak to her, though I was happy to speak to another psychiatrist. She was rude, mean, and also just incompetent. Even if there was truth to the accusation which there was not, no psychiatrist should have gone about speaking to me like she did. And no doctor should have insisted on trying to speak to me while I was unclothed and in a clearly vulnerable position. Her note deliberately misinterpreted and cherry picked my medical history to the point of fabrication. She said that I “happily consented to intubations” implying that did not to be on either occasion… (was just twice) and that I somehow wanted to be? She said this despite 1) not being present on either occasion 2) I cried the second time they told me they were going to do this. She also wrote that I “fired my doctor and moved to [state] where I was enrolled in all kinds of asthma and pain clinics”. The reality was I moved for school and was very upset at having to leave my medical team, who I had a very good relationship with, and upon moving I have been enrolled in one asthma and one pain clinic. I don’t know how this translates to “all kinds”. All of the above was documented and she even spoke to my previous pulmonologist, though she chose not to speak to my current one. My point here is to emphasize that this woman is a liar and cannot be trusted. She creates a narrative based on some assumption and looks for evidence to support it, as opposed to collecting evidence first and then drawing a conclusion, as any competent scientist and doctor would do. After reading reviews of this woman, it seems this accusation that patients are making things up or cannot be believed is a pattern with this woman. You can’t choose who comes to see you in the hospital, but if this woman walks in - not that she’d introduce herself - ask her to leave immediately and speak to someone else.

Dr. Saad exhibited stultifying arrogance, incompetency and an overall lack of basic regard for her patients’ well being. In addition to questionable clinical acumen, she seems unable to render the most fundamental levels of empathy expected of a clinician. She should not be allowed to treat children or adolescents especially those in crisis because she equates her biases and assumptions with treatment.

The fact that I did a Google review on this person and it was taken down because she knows the truth so let me do it here. I was called stupid by this doctor but in a more professional way. Her exact words were “I am not credible for her to believe me.” I’m sorry, I was there asking for help not because I want to be there. She is not empathetic. She does her job for the money. She doesn’t care about her patients. If anyone suffers from a mental health disorder, please do not. I repeat, do not go to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital do not let them force you to see this doctor. She is horrific. She does not deserve to be a doctor. I’m surprise she still has her license. My Google review was taken down because of the truth that was said do not go to Brooklyn Methodist hospital for any psychiatric crisis. I will travel halfway around the world before I ever go back to this place and see this doctor.
