Dr. Behzad Talebian, MD

Dr. Talebian is kind, caring, thorough, explains everything clearly, answers questions and calls you for blood test results himself. He's almost like an "uncle" to my kids coz they love him that much and now they're sad to go to an adult physician soon. Selfishly, I hope he never retires so he can take care of my future grandkids. The scariest in his ofc is that most of his front desk staff are rude. They have an attitude. You can develop PTSD just calling the ofc. They need people skills esp when dealing w parents. I cringe every time I have to call for an appt, ask general questions, billings, etc. Phones are by a machine then you get a click then dial tone after waiting for up to 30 minutes on hold. Consider yourself winning the lottery when the human voice w attitude picks up! They also bill you for something from 5 or so years ago. $5 here, $8 there, $2 at times. Then it accumulates when you stand your ground that no way you owe that money altho minimal. If you… want The greatest Dr. Talebian, you need to be tougher in calling his ofc in Garden City. I had much better luck in his ofc staff in Babylon as far as phones being answered and their quick response. They're kind & helpful in Babylon, NY. HUmans actually answer their phones there.

He is an awesome dr. Most of the staff are good also. Morning staff during the week can use a rephresher course on attending to patients first before finishing personal conversations.

I have tried the other doctors at the garden city location but Dr. Talebian was the best. He spends time to get to know you and address any and all of your concerns!! The only thing I dont like about the Garden City location is the staff. Most of them can use major customer service training to tone down their attitudes!
