Dr Belkis Perez, OD

Dr. Belkis Perez, O.D., is a South Florida native who has been dedicated to providing exceptional eye care since obtaining her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2016. Her training focused on the management of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, pediatrics, and contact lenses, equipping her with a well-rounded skill set to address a wide range of eye care needs.
Dr. Perez offers comprehensive eye exams, medical eye exams, emergency visits, and contact lens fittings. She has a special interest in glaucoma management, myopia control, and fitting specialized contact lenses such as scleral and RGP lenses. Her commitment to staying current with advancements in eye care is reflected in her active membership with the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Florida Optometric Association (FOA), and the Broward County Optometric Association.
Since joining Lakes Eye Center in 2022, Dr. Perez has continued to make a positive impact on her patients' lives. She is …passionate about preserving her patients' vision and is dedicated to providing them with the highest quality care.
