Dr. Benjamin Robert Abt

Dr. Abt is not an honorable man when it comes to billing. He charged me for an additional cone beam x-ray that was not in my treatment plan without telling me. Also, my insurance initially turned down paying $396 for sedation. After telling me for a year and a half that they were trying to resubmit it, he finally admitted he would not write a letter saying that it was needed. I paid in full in advance for all work, but somehow in the end I was left with a $43 balance. I have it in writing from his office that he approved a courtesy write-off of that amount. Subsequently I filed an appeal with my insurance for the sedation. One simple letter saying my jaw stopped growing as a child and that I had only 22 instead of 32 teeth, plus a copy of my x-ray and they approved the sedation. Humana said that Dr. Abt failed to report that I had already paid for the sedation in full, so they sent the $396 check to him instead of directly to me. He then reneged on the $43 write off that he had… approved and subtracted it from the Humana check that was due me, only sending me $353. As I said, not an honorable man.

Dr. Abt is absolutely wonderful. He has been treating my mother since she turned 98. She is now 101 and Dr. Apt is the only doctor, of any sort, that she is is happy to go see. She says, "He's such a nice young man, I never feel a thing."

I needed immediate attention to my dental problem and was able to get in the next day. All the staff was friendly and caring..Dr. Abt really had a caring gentle approach and genuine concern for me.

Dr. Abt, his office and staff blew me away. I have never been so comfortable in a doctors care.
