I highly recommend Dr. Benjamin Choi! I had a very pleasant experience when I met him today with my husband. He really took his time to listen to me and he was very thorough in explaining and clarifying all of our concerns.

Dr Choi used the Green Light laser procedure to shrink my prostate. The results have been excellent. I chose Dr Choi after carefully evaluating several specialists for this procedure and have zero regrets about my decision. Dr . Choi is caring, communicative and an excellent technician as he is one of the first urologists to introduce Green Light. His office staff was efficient ,kind and caring as well. The follow up to make sure that i was ok after the procedure was also excellent. No question in my mind that Ben Choi is the doctor to see for an enlarged prostate.

My diagnosis was Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in layman’s terms an enlarged prostate. Dr. Benjamin Choi is an amazing surgeon that has performed laser surgery 100’s of times, in my case using the Green light laser technique. He spent 90 minutes with my wife and I before the surgery explaining to us what to expect in terms of relief and possible side-effects. We live in Central New Jersey and Dr. Choi did not want us to have to return for a second pre-surgery appointment, he was very respectful of our time. His hospital New Presbyterian is an amazing facility that took care of me from the second (no exaggeration) I walked in the door to the time I left the following afternoon. Thank you to the nurses, doctors, and staff of Baker 15 who took care of me like I was a visiting dignitary. My procedure was complicated and took almost 3-hours to complete. I was walking 3-hours after the surgery and urinating like I was 20 the day after. Two lessons I learned, if a Urologist… tells you that you are retaining urine, do not delay like I did, get it done now. You will be happy you did avoiding the pain I went through. Second, and this is so important, have it done by someone like Dr. Choi who performs over 100 Green Light Laser Surgeries a year and has been performing Green Light for over a dozen years. NYC is within 30-miles of my house and has arguably the best health care in the world. Find your superstar surgeon and Urologist like I did.

Dr. Choi is the best urologist that I have ever been to and I’ve been to several. He is understanding, sympathetic and listened to all of my symptoms and complaints. He was thoughtful and thorough in his examination and diagnosis and took my feelings into account every step of the way! His office staff is an extension of his practice-they are professional, courteous and outstanding in every way!

Had laser surgery and all went as smoothly as I hoped. I started as a skeptic but now I'm a believer. Excellent doctor. Excellent staff.

The man is cruel and should not be allowed to practice. I can't believe the good reviews. They must be his family. I was treated horribly by this poor excuse for a human being. It has been five years since my association with him and I am still suffering from his mistakes. Even my family doctor after having a phone conversation with him insisted that I never go near him again. If you value your body - stay far away fro this man whose ego is out of control.
