Dr. Benjamin Wes Deshetler

I had a tooth pulled by Dr. Foxhall a few weeks ago and woke up at 5:00 am in excruciating pain with a swollen face. I drove to the office at 8:00 am as I was experiencing a true dental emergency. The office staff was not friendly nor helpful as I did not have an appointment. There was absolutely no care or compassion from the staff- only outward annoyance. While I completely understand walking in to an office is FAR from ideal- I was in dire need of help and was CLEARLY in distress. I was informed by the receptionist, that based on a conversation with one of the doctors, I could not be seen for two days and was offered a name of an oral surgeon. Oddly enough, neither the receptionist nor the doctor obtained any information from me regarding my current symptoms. It is absolutely ridiculous and negligent to not have any type of emergency appointments available for current patients. Further, it is completely careless to not gather any information from the patient on current symptoms… potentially related to a procedure performed by one of their doctors. Luckily, Dr. Cheek (my previous dentist) was able to fit me in within thirty minutes of me calling as I was experiencing a legitimate emergency. While I certainly understand the complexity of scheduling, offering NO options for current patients who had RECENT work done is FAR from appropriate patient care. I will never return to this practice and will never recommend this practice to anyone ever again. Yes- they offer painless and gentle dental services but could care less if one of their patients is in extreme pain and in need of immediate care. Thankfully, Dr. Cheek and her amazing, CARING, and professional staff were able to help.

He never kept my dental xrays or background information. And did several dental procedures on me. Then his hygienist had no information on me. And he asked me to leave. He is the worst dentist I have ever gone to. I don't believe he Really cares about his patients. As he never kept my information. Nor did he treat me with respect as a patient. I don't believe all the good ratings. I have gone to dentists over a very long time and have never had a dentist treat me like he did after I had all kinds of procedures done with him.
