Dr. Benjamin Isaac Enav, MD

Just had our first appt. w/ Dr. Enav, by referral from young son's lifetime PCP. New condition. I could not have been more pleasantly impressed. Professional. He listened, he listened to the four of us (son, Dad, Sdad, Mom), spoke to my son directly and precisely reasonably, and shared his insights, for which he was clearly prepared with blood and stool labs and historical information. Arranging appt. w/ staff/ site was straightforward. Left us all in much better understanding and hopefulness, with a clear trajectory for treatment and 'what's next'. Responded quickly and clearly to follow-up questions via portal. We went from very, very concerned about our son, to realistic understanding and relief and hope. Mom is Pediatric dentist, so knows sedation and had very specific concerns and questions, all responded to very reasonably. Dad is behavioral health professional with adolescents. Sdad is also professional, accomplished and takes a good blood parent's concern. We all reviewed… together and agreed we could not have hoped for any better. Very thankful and grateful to Dr. Enav and his staff. 'Balance' is critical and challenging - Dr. Enav and staff navigated our entire introductory session and returned hope and relief to our decidedly very concerning situation.

Terrible staff. Rude and dismissive. Find a different do otro.

Dr. Enav didn't even acknowledge my (one-year-old) son's presence for most of the appointment. He didn't even say "hi" to him. His only interaction with him was a brief exam that ended with him throwing his hands up in the air and saying "he's all yours now." He then placed the blame for my son's eating issues on me (despite the fact that we have been working on sensory and oral/motor issues in occupational therapy for months, from which he graduated after quick improvement). I should note that my husband was there as well, but since I am the mother/a woman, the blame was placed squarely on me. I asked for a solution or resources to improve the situation based on his (rude, hurtful) assessment, and he just told me "it's a parenting thing," and refused to offer any help. We will not be going back.

Dr. Enav was unprofessional and rude. I will not take my child to see him again.

Rude- Mean- Arrogant and he should not be a doctor.

We saw Dr. Enav yesterday. He's sort of like House M.D. I can see how he could turn people off because he's blunt and brash but he will listen to you, even if you give it right back to him. In the end, I believe him to be an excellent doctor and that's why I went to see him. I appreciated his questions and his trying to get to the root cause of what's been going on with my teen even if it felt a bit jarring. I also appreciated him giving her some peppermint oil samples for her nausea rather than just giving her a medication that may not be necessary. The tests he ordered were appropriate and appreciated. He seems to take things incrementally which is also appreciated. It was fun to see reviews of him when we returned back from the appt. They were either 5 star reviews or 1 star reviews. You either love him or you hate him. If you get rattled easily, he's probably not your doctor. If you can stay in the conversation and answer his questions without taking them or his tone… personally, I believe he will help your child.

I appreciate his conservative approach to medicine and my daughter felt very comfortable discussing her issues with him.

The doctor himself was very experienced, but he was quite rude. He spoke back to me and my daughter quite rudely and he even left us for a solid 10 minutes to "write something up". When he came back, he had a four week plan for my daughter and didn't even consult us on it. He told us to read the plan over then leave. We asked him some questions but he answered them very curtly and didn't seem interested in hearing our concerns. My daughter really doesn't want to go after all that.

To the point, took great care of my kid!

Just saw Dr. Enav for my 5 month old son that was diagnosed with FPIES. It is a disorder that not many physicians are familiar with. It was such a relief to talk to a doctor that is familiar with it. He gave us great advice and a reasonable treatment plan for our little one. We are very thankful to have found him.
