Dr. Benjamin Cody Gans, DO

I went for my first ever appointment with Dr. Gans. Although my appointment was at 9:00 he didn't come in to see me until about 9:20. I think he was probably reviewing my medical history. Once he came in he was very attentive and did not seemed rushed. He answered my questions and explained my issues in an easy to understand manner. I really liked him and believe I will receive great care from him. He even said it was nice to meet me.

I had a follow up with this doctor due to shoulder and arm pain. I had CT scans and x-rays that showed nothing but I knew something was wrong. I asked him to order additional tests and he didn't. he just referred me for physical therapy. I told him I was in extreme pain and asked him to keep me on the medication the emergency room doctor prescribed. he wouldn't. he told me to take as much Tylenol and ibuprofen as it took to ease the pain. if over-the-counter meds were working I never would have ended up in the ER to begin with.I went to the emergency room the next day got an MRI and it revealed herniated discs in my neck. I told the emergency room doctor what doctor Ganz said to me about the Ibuprofen and Tylenol and he said that that wouldn't help me and wrote me a prescription for the medication that he had me on before which was a low-dose narcotic and a muscle relaxer. I am now seeing a spine specialist and getting the medication that I need no thanks to this negligent doctor. I am… also pulling my children out of this family care practice because I don't want this to happen to them when they have something serious going on. This doctor came in dressed in street clothes and acted like a little punk he was cussing and everything. please steer clear of this doctor as his extreme negligence could be detrimental to your health in the long term. I now have proof that there was something seriously wrong with me and I am taking it to a lawyer
