Dr. Benjamin James Greer

I had a major sciatica attack on Christmas and was going through excruciating pain. He came through for me and managed to see me right away the day after Christmas and took me through a treatment plan that worked and helped me out. Yes, he may look and come off as a little odd, but he really knows what he's doing and his 43 years of experience and knowledge shows and his methods work. Just as a heads up, you should see him at the Walnut Creek location. The Pittsburg office is still a little bare bones and being worked on.

I agree with the prior review. It is harsh, but accurate. Definitely Dr. Greer is a charlatan.

Dr. Greer is a charlatan and a racist. I will explain why in the following sentences. He was misleading about what insurance he is in contract with and ended up billing me $430 for a 10 minute appointment, during which he did nothing but talk on his phone with someone about his tax and finances—with me in the room. I contacted him to ask why he said that he is in contract with my insurance when he clearly was out of network, to which he did not directly respond and tried to negotiate with me and brought down the $430 to $250 on the phone. I refused to still pay him anything, so he negotiated again and brought down the price to $160. I still refused to pay him that. In response to this, he turned around and said, and I quote, “For cheap medical benefits, go back to your country”, and then he hung up the phone. This is clearly a very prejudiced, racist, xenophobic, unprofessional, and unacceptable remark towards me, or anyone for that matter. Doctor Greer deserves to have his license… taken away as he is not upholding many of the Hippocratic Oaths that physicians should uphold towards their patients. And not just for his blatant racism, but for his other wrong practices of misleading about the insurance plans he takes and so on and so forth.
