While attending LSU, Dr. Grooters was the freshman class president and a member of Delta Sigma Delta fraternity. Upon graduation, Dr. Grooters and his wife, Shannon, decided to return to Tallahassee to be closer to family. In his free time, Dr. Grooters enjoys biking, running and spending time with his wife and two children, Jack and Paige.
