Good Family Medicine doctor

Doctor is in a big rush with no one in waiting room. Doesnt listen cuts you off in mid sentence. Lets his staff do tasks he should do especially thru phone..important issues he should address not his secretary. No backbone to deal with people so uses his staff as a cushion..multiple times ive left there paying 100 bucks just so he can see me for 5 minutes and say go buy ibuprfren from the store... but he wont prescribe it....after i told him ive already been taking that....multiple times i listen to his staff complain an laugh about patients they deal with right in front of me.patients are a big joke over there. kinda feels like they dont like alot of the patients...btw i was with him for 10 years..many more complaints i can say

My wife came to see you after a car accident... only to be told we would have to pay in cash before any service.... yes we have insurance... Was my wife charged the same amount as you would receive from our ins carrier...What a way to treat a real health care pro... what can you sau=y to defend your actions?

I always have a good experience at his office. He is very thorough and caring . I value his care.

The Courtesy and professionalism of office staff is ok, but the accuratly diagnosing a problem demonstrates a problem combined with not following up as needed.

Dr Jewell has been my primary physician for approx. 3 years. I have recommended him to others, because he takes the time to talk and listen and then diagnose the illness correctly. He is a no nonsense, no additional expense kind of doctor. Hope he decides to stay in Napa for a while!
