Dr. Benjamin Patrick Kleinhenz, MD

He refused to treat my daughters broken scaphoid. At 10 weeks of no healing we were told again “come back and we will see in 4 more weeks.” He refused to do a CAT scan- this was in April for a fracture that happened in January. Moved to Ortho Cincy. CAT scan within 2 days. Found the fracture to be unhealable naturally. Surgery within a week. This was done before Kleinhenz would even see her again. She was able to play full softball tournaments by July. Had we stayed with Beacon- who knows?! He stole part of a volleyball season from her with apathetic care and caused her mental health issues for weeks because of the “unknown” and lack of any concern shown. Would never recommend. They don’t take student athletes seriously. I to this day do not understand why she was treated this way! It blows my mind!

I had additional fractures not caught in my ER visit. Dr Kleinhenz and Dr Markiewitz collaborated to provide me with the most excellent care of both my elbow and wrist fractures. I was very impressed how the surgeons and their whole team worked together to coordinate my care.

Dr. Kleinhenz was professional, friendly and patient in determining a diagnosis with my left hand pain. Although he diagnosed it as a "saddle injury" between my fingers (nothing particularly serious), I truly appreciated the time and effort Dr. Kleinhenz took with me during my visit. He pressed on my hand and had me perform different types of movements; I could tell immediately he was highly skilled and knowledgeable. I was somewhat hesitant and scared making my appointment because I was afraid of what might be wrong with my hand. Dr. Kleinhenz's calm demeanor and skilled expertise put me at ease. I am confident he has diagnosed my hand issue with accuracy and the treatment he has prescribed has already made my hand less painful. Honestly, some doctors who are "specialist" tend to be quick during appointments and do not always have a caring bedside manner. I was so pleasantly surprised by the treatment Dr. Kleinhenz gave to me. I felt he saw me as a PERSON not just "another… patient" with a hand problem. Thank you so much for the positive experience!
