What a great experience! I waited 22.5 years to have a procedure done, because of fear. Went in thinking we were just going to talk about it and left with 22.5 years of pain gone. Why…because of great bedside manor by nurse (Shannon?) and Dr. Kulow. It is nice to be treated genuinely and not just another patient without a name.

He prescribed medication I'm allergic to and refused to change it when staff brought it to his attention. Prescribed a medication that would have been extremely problematic with my health history. Booked me for a different surgery then he discussed with me. Had extremely blood shot eyes during our appointment. Cancelled all future appointments with him for my safety.

As an RN in healthcare for many years I can not even express my gratitude and enthusiasm for the amazing expertise Dr. Kulow exhibited. He made me feel fully informed yet optimistic about my ostomy reversal which he performed last week. He is kind and compassionate with a blend of humor woven into his approach. I would bump him up to 10 stars if I could. Thank you Dr. Kulow for using your gifts to save my life and dignity. You simply rock !

I just wanted to give a shoutout to a great surgeon. Dr Kulow is so thorough with everything (explaining before, during, and after procedure, explaining why a procedure is being done, what possibilities can be looked at going forward in the future, & more). He amazes me on how he checks on his patients every day, showing understanding and kindness. He has shown he stands behind his patients 100%.

My daughter had Dr. Kulow as one of her surgeons for her colectomy. I have stayed with her each day throughout her hospital stay, and was able to observe Dr. Kulow in a daily basis. Dr. Kulow is wonderful. He takes his time to answer all of your questions (and her mother’s). He is kind and compassionate to his patients. I trust him 100%.
