Dr. Benjamin Michael Lannon, MD

You talk to Dr. Lannon he gives you the information but, conversation feels awkward. He doesn't seem to care as much as he should. Never went above and beyond for us. It was a very negative experience. IUI's, IVF's, and even Donor Eggs! Horrible communication with most of the professionals that work at Boston IVF South Portland. They want your money that's for sure. Not one thing went right. Ruined our marriage. I would never recommend Boston IVF. Do your research!

Doesn't take time with patients. Did not return phone calls when stated he would. Unbelievable really, that one could pay the amount of money that IVF costs and not have a doctor who takes his time with patients. Unacceptable. If you have the ability to seek treatment elsewhere, I strongly recommend it.

Barbara took us late & no one checked in with. She seems to be confused with many questions, and lacks empathy that individuals have had a long, hard road. Many of us are scared of the process. Needles! Pills! Retrieval! $$$$$. Professionalism as good bedside manner can really matter. Dr. Lannon has the knowledge.....but, I don't want to be another statistic.

My partner and I had been going to see Dr. Lannon at Boston IVF Maine center for almost a year. In that time Dr. Lannon did an excellent job discussing our options and always made me feel like there would be a plan B if the current treatment plan wasn't successful. His nurse Amy was a god sent from the beginning! Her bedside manner was wonderful! She always took the time to explain things or would get the answers from Dr. Lannon and get back to me. The other two nurses that I spoke to, Barbara and Tammy always rushed me off the phone and responded very rudely when I would ask questions. Thankfully once I moved to IVF these nurses were much more friendly and helpful in person.

Always awkward talking to Dr. Lannon. When asking questions just given a broad answer. I felt like all he talked about was doing IVF, only after undergoing 1 type of treatment for infertility. The whole experience just made me feel like a number. Infertility is so frustrating...feeling like a number adds to that extreme frustration.
