I came to Dr Mandel in 2024 for an implant swap and lift. I appreciated his approach; front loading me with risks and unknown outcomes, rather than selling me perfection. He is very honest, verifies if the patient is a good candidate for surgery, and is thorough with the facts. I felt comfortable knowing I could leave every decision in Dr Mandel’s hands giving him little details of my expectations. I let Dr Mandel, the artist and surgeon, do the rest. It’s been 13 months since surgery, and I am really pleased with my results - natural and perky.

I recently had a breast reduction with Dr. Mandel and couldn’t be happier with the results. From my first consultation to my final follow-up, Dr. Mandel was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and reassuring. He took the time to explain every detail of the procedure so I knew exactly what to expect before, during, and after surgery. I felt confident and well-informed every step of the way. After a breast lift and tummy tuck, my results are far better than anything I had imagined, and they are notably better than even what I see in pictures online of other women who started out with bodies way better than mine. There’s no doubt that Dr. Mandel has an ability to create a beautifully sculpted body in ways other surgeons do not… even my belly button is the cutest one I’ve ever seen (and I hate how fake a tummy tuck belly button usually looks). My boobs… I swear they’re better than my 16 and 21-year-old daughters’ (and I don’t have implants… just what started as utters;). I’m only 4 weeks out today and I’ve already forgotten what it felt like to be the old me. I truly can’t recommend Dr. Mandel enough. It’s a scary thing to go under the knife and allow another person to create irreversible changes in you… but you’re in the best of hands with Dr. Mandel, and I mean that literally. Don’t walk… run!

Dr. Mandel and his skilled team performed a diastasis recti repair for me. I had a very thorough consultation with him to discuss my options and he gave me realistic expectations of the results I could expect. The pricing was very upfront with no pressure to schedule right away. I was especially drawn to pick Dr. Mandel as my surgeon not only because of his board certifications, expertise and schooling but because of his background in the arts. His goal was not just restoring functionality in my core again but making sure that it looked great – and it does! Dr. Mandel is an excellent surgeon with good listening skills and warm bedside manner. I had a major facial surgery for skin cancer removal and had over 100 sutures. You can barely see a scar. This support staff are skilled and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Mandel.

Dr. Mandel is always professional as well as his staff. Never felt uncomfortable always felt very well treated. Handled my surgeries with great care, as well as other issues that arose along the way. Answers all questions without hesitation. Would 100% recommend.

Dr. Mandel is professional, caring and compassionate. He always listened and was never condescending. His staff is amazing. Rosie is just the best nurse. She makes you feel very comfortable. Dr. Mandel explained all the options, clarified things and answered all of our questions. We have already recommended him to a friend who is facing a possible similar reconstruction surgery. Couldn't feel better about a plastic surgeon who knows how to be compassionate and not stuck on his own ideas.

I had a breast reduction. I was very nervous but he put me at ease, answered all my question, showed me pictures, etc. The results are fantastic. The office staff was very helpful and kind. I never felt I was being judged. They kept in good contact with me, especially after the surgery. He has my highest recommendation.

I am a nurse, so I understand quality care. I had breast reduction surgery for chronic back and neck pain. My experience from start to finish: office staff, Dr. Mandel, pre-op, intra-op, post-op all at Kootenai Health was top notch. I have not one complaint. The only regret I have is that I didn't have this surgery sooner. The quality of my life has improved significantly, I am even breasting better! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I couldn't be more happy with Dr Mandel! He is truly a kind and personable doctor. He cares about getting everything right. I had breast cancer and decided it was the best time for a reduction. He is a very attentive listener and welcomes all questions. I asked him to take as much breast tissue as he could and that I didn't care about being proportioned. Due to cancer I wanted as much gone as possible. He said he would take as much as he could yet keeping me safe was his first concern. He is very easy to talk to. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much was gone when I awoke from surgery! I am very happy and he did an excellent job! His staff are super nice and caring too. His office is beautiful! And they are always available for questions as well as Dr Mandel. I will say that Dr Mandel and his staff are the best that I've had the pleasure to be involved with since I moved to Northern Idaho 7 years ago!
