Dr. Ben Mayo, MD

I’m 6 months po of knee surgery Dr. Mayo is the man. I thought I would never be able to do certain things again like ride a bike go up and down stairs correctly but Dr. Mayo change that. He’s straight to the point and get the job done.

Alot of people said that it was a bit rushed, not rushed, just a well run efficient DR office. They wasted no time, got me back Xray, assistant took some info, Dr Mayo came in listen to what I had to say with my injury. He quickly diagnosed my issue, showed and explained what was going on, gave me a plan of action to get it corrected and sent me on my way. PT with follow up in 6 weeks. In and out in about 40 mins, what more could you ask for.

Dr Mayo may not be the the most charismatic doctor but he is absolutely amazing and one of the best best at what he does. Basically saved my right arm and you can’t tell it was injured at all if I didn’t tell you…recommend very highly.

Dr Mayo is an empathetic doctor who listens and gives realistic recommendations and outlook and he does not give up!!

The appointment was very easy to schedule, I had zero trouble finding the building. I cannot review Dr Mayo, I didn't actually meet him. His staff were curious, knowledgeable. My reason for a 3 star review is I waited an hour before being seen for a 1:30 in the afternoon appointment. And my total time there was 2 hours. I was there for a cortisone injection for my hip.

My first visit with Dr.Mayo and he did not disappoint. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend him and see him in the future if needed for my hip concerns.

Very helpful staff. Addressed all concerns. Did have to wait over half an hour before being seen.

I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and I was called for X-rays at the appointed time of my appointment and I shown where to wait. Shortly thereafter Dr. Mayo entered and he explained my X-rays and he answered my questions and my appointment was over.

Dr. Mayo repaired an injury. The recovery for such an injury is worse than the surgery. Dr. Mayo was empathetic and at each check up, let me know how the recovery progressed. A year after surgery, I am happy that I can continue an active lifestyle thanks to his and his PT staff’s care.

I felt like the first visit was good he listened to me explained everything well. The day of surgery he seemed good before I went in then after I came out it seemed like no one knew what was going on because my surgery went different, he spoke to my family real fast and seemed to confuse them then when he came back to explain more he seemed bothered by it. During my post op Dr. Mayo seemed to be short, bothered and off. I felt like he didn't really want to hear what I had to say and brushed off what I was telling him, it was very surprising considering he was good the first visit.
