Dr. Benjamin Miriovsky received his Medical Degree with honors and highest distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed advanced fellowship training in hematology and oncology at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Miriovsky is board certified in hematology, oncology and internal medicine. He has co-authored several research publications and is an active member of his church.

Dr. Miriovsky and his wife have 8 children and love spending time outdoors and also at the pool with their kids who are competitive swimmers.

Superb, knowledgeable, and exceptionally dedicated oncologist. When I first visited Dr. Miriovksy, I had little hope. After explaining my options, the world changed. His treatment protocol proved to be amazingly effective, and he was there, along with a fantastic staff, every step of the way.

Patient centered, maintains current knowledge base from recent research, explains all issues in detail, listens carefully, treatment is carefully matched to each patient's specific needs. Highly recommended oncologist.

I became a patient of Dr. Miriovsky soon after he returned to BMC in 2016. He guided me through my cancer treatment and was exceptional at letting me know what was going on and what my options were. He arranged for a second opinion at a research university to confirm his opinions and provide additional assurance to me. During my hospital stay following complications of surgery, he visited me daily and provided above and beyond explanations and compassion. His patients and the Central Oregon community are very fortunate to have Dr. Miriovsky to care for us.

I have seen a plethora of physicians over my lifetime, but the best communicator who gives the clearest examples of how to navigate treatment is clearly Dr. Miriovsky. I have never encountered any physician who can in very simple terms explain my condition and create a logical and effective treatment plan in concert with my consultation and feedback. He also spent as much time as needed with me and my wife addressing our questions and concerns. Quite frankly, he is the best physician I have encountered to date in helping me understand and navigate my future with cancer. I also find he knows the clinical literature thoroughly as well as current trends in prostate cancer treatment. I would highly recommend him to any person needing an Oncologist.

He can give a week of intense chemo but when his patient gets septic shock he is no where to be seen.
