Dr. Benjamin Griffith Pumphrey, MD

Saw this doctor twice and his service was far worse than any doctor I had seen before. Insisted on changing medication that had worked for me for years and diagnosed me as bi-polar because he disagreed with the doctor I had been seeing before even though treatment had been working just fine. (Previous doctor transferred out of the practice is why I no longer was seeing the previous doctor any longer). There was no understanding on what I was actually saying, more or less he had come to a conclusion well before listening to everything about myself. All the treatments and medication he recommended were expensive and had terrible side effects. Felt more like he was pushing an agenda for the pharmaceutical companies than anything that was beneficial to me. Went back 10 years later (had forgotten his name) and decided to cut the appointment short and not waste my time with him.

Dr. Pumphrey has poor bed side manner and lacked the ability to empathize. He told me he could help me and probably no one could. My visit with him was retraumatizing. Since then I found a better doctor that listen to me and gave me the help that I was seeking. I would suggest that you find better caring doctor some where else.
