Dr. Benjamin Eric Reese

Dr. Reese told my son to stop wearing his retainer because he had tarter build up on it. Not long after, his teeth started shifting. when we voiced our concerns, Dr. Reese called our home and in his message, said our son's mouth was filthy although it was never mentioned in any of the numerous office visits we had with him. He was a pre-teen/teen and did a normal job of brushing his teeth with braces. We were never told his mouth was filthy until we criticized Dr Reese. We spent $4k on his mouth and because Dr. Reese got mad, he let his teeth start moving back. We used denture cleaner on his retainer once a month, but there was still visible tarter on the retainer. I broke my leg a few weeks after he had his braces off which required two surgeries and I couldn't walk for months which is why he didn't come in for a year. He wore his retainer night and day and aside from the build up, his teeth had not moved. Instead of offering us another retainer which we already paid for, he said not… to wear it anymore at all and wanted us to pay for another phase which he had never mentioned before. We eventually went to Laidlaw Orthodontics where she did a beautiful job of fixing the mess Dr. Reese made. Gentech refuses to refund any of our money and had Dr. Reese write an insincere apology letter. The dental part of the practice was always good- orthodontics is awful.

My two teenaged daughters, both in Damon braces at Gentech in Vancouver WA, absolutely love Dr. Benjamin Reese, and so do my husband and I. For almost two years, we have driven an hour each way to our appointments, and are always met with a warm and generous staff who treat us like family. Dr. Reese is highly skilled, efficient and generous with his time, patient and thorough with all of our questions, genuinely interested in my girls and their lives, warm, clean, funny, emotionally mature, and utterly likable. He's great with kids and teens. We enjoy him and his wonderful dental assistants so much, that we drive an entire hour each way for his services. I have referred my good friend to Dr. Reese for her teen daughter, and they love him too. We have one more daughter who will need braces, and we won't hesitate to take her to Dr. Reese. Highly recommended.
