Dr. Benjamin Anderson Rideout

Dr Rideout was my anesthesiologist for the birth of my daughter. He attended me carefully for my epidural and later for my c-section. When my daughter was born not breathing due to unforeseen complications, he was able to step in and rapidly intubate her, saving her life and preventing major long term disabilities. He later visited her in the NICU to make sure she was doing well. He is incredibly kind and has a wonderful bedside manner. I’m so grateful to have had the pleasure of being served by him.

Dr. Rideout spoke to me before my surgery and assisted me in feeling at ease. He answered all my questions before and after surgery in a caring and professional manner. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Rideout was unwilling to listen to a patient's input and was certain that he knew best without a complete history. Doctor has a lot to learn about listening to a patient for their opinions and experience - a patient knows best what their own experience with medication has been historically and the doctor was not interested in what the patient's history in order to form an educated opinion of his own. He apparently walked in the door with an opinion already formed.
