Dr. Benjamin Eli Saltman, MD

Had a Thyroid Lobectomy recently and was very nervous going into the procedure. I was always seen on time and felt like I was being rushed out of his office. He took the time to explain the procedure, my options going into it and explain the potential risks associated with the surgery. Every message sent to him was promptly answered and all questions addressed even if they were probably not medically informed questions (Never made me feel dumb). I have 0 complications post surgery, and if I would have listened to the Endocrinologist and removed the whole Thyroid instead of partial, I would be definitely stuck taking pills for the rest of my life. Highly recommended.

Dr Saltman helped me took out a parotid glad tumor in the middle of last month. After testing, it is confirmed to be a cancer. I recovered very well after the surgery. Before saw Dr Saltman, another doctor in Sharp gave me a wrong diagnosis. He made a wrong biopsy and told me its just a benigh type tumor. Fortunately, I didn't wait a long time and saw Dr Saltman for a second opinion, and took out the tumor timely. He is a very nice and humorous doctor and answers all your questions. I strongly recommend this doctor.

I knew Dr. Saltman when I was referred to do my parathyroidectomy and first consultation visit was wonderful from many points , first, the clinic and nurses are very prompt , then Dr. was on time and very welcome and very knowledgeable in details. then the day of surgery, I was not afraid because of his confident and trusted him, the results are very good and I loved his team from nurses ,my Anesthetist doctor also was wonderful and amazing.

Dr. Saltman is fantastic. He is knowledgeable, takes the time to explain things clearly and makes sure you understand, and he seems to genuinely care about his patients.

Did my wife's surgery, answered every question we had, called a few times after the operation to see how she was.

He Is a really good doctor...

I just used Dr. Saltman for my daughters Danielle surgery. Dr. Saltman, his associates and his staff is all excellent. I highly recommend them.

This doctor as well as his staff do not return phone calls, cancel appointments and surgery at the last minute. Obviously, this office does not care about patients.

Because of his improper techniques he forever ruined my life. I almost suffocated after doing the trachea surgery. He did not give me any post op care nor did he even stop by the hospital room after surgery was complete. He is a horrible doctor and treats his patients like animals. If my appt is at 1 I get seen at 3:40 if not later. That is not normal. He walks around and flirts with his medical assistance instead of treating his patients. His clerical staff is awful as well. They have bad attitude and no respect!

He is horrible. Unprofessional and his staff is not any better! He only cares about getting paid and doesn't give proper care to patients. After a trach was put in he sent me home and told me no follow ups were needed. My trach had infection after infection and all he did was say it is normal. Thank goodness for Cornell hospital that saved my life. Saltman place the trach incorrectly.
