Dr. Benjamin Eugene Scherer, MD

My experience with Dr Scherer has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the start to the end with terrible results, scars and numbness to my right foot. From the beginning I made sure when i had my consultation with Dr Scherer if he was comfortable with my request with shared photos and he said yes and made me feel like he was experienced. After my first surgery, not only was my experience extremely painful but I have two different results that did not match and was crooked. I kept being reassured my healing was normal and it was not. Not only was I gaslighted but made to feel like there were no problems when there was physically many issues. After they took another x-ray and finally agreed to the problems, I had a revision that I had to pay for. After my revision I instantly knew something was wrong. When I looked at what Dr Scherer was supposed to fix, instead of fixing his mistakes; what he did was tried to cover his mistakes. Instead of properly correcting the issues, he tried… to cosmetically shave my bone down to appear that he fixed the problem when he did not. Not only is my results and X-RAY still show the same issues, I had to suffer months of pain and not walking again. But now, lost feeling in one of my toe on my right foot. The pain and suffering did not end when i patiently waited for the healing process to pass then asked the office for the x-rays taken. The office would not give me a copy but gave me excuses. I had to ask three times for a copy of my x-ray until they finally sent it. After addressing my same issues again to the Dr Scherer, not only does he lie, he is a true narcissist. He will lie to you in one sentence, then change his words in the next. He even admit that he shouldn’t have performed a revisioned because he is not capable or experienced enough to do so. He refuse to refund any money back and openly said that my results are not fixable by any doctor. Please investigate this doctor.
