He doesn't follow through. Doesn't return any communication. I was unable to walk or care for my medically fragile child and he couldn't care to return any emails or treat my condition at all.

Dr. Wang has been the only doctor that has been able to treat my disease. I have HSP Vasculitis, which is a rare disease, and Dr. Wang took the initiative to have me tested. When I show I was negative for ANCA test, he sent me to get a biopsy which was positive. He is amazing with patients and has the best interest for them. It is a doctor who has a "out of the box" thinking. I travel from AL to FL only to see him. Amazing doctor, and Mayo is an amazing research hospital.

My wife's autoimmune panel came back with a positive result for a rare antibody, but Dr. Wang never followed up with her. We sent numerous messages, tried to schedule a follow-up appointment and asked other doctors at Mayo for help. It's been over 6 months and he's not responded to a single message, nor has he updated his clinical notes. One of the Mayo doctors said it was extremely unprofessional for him to not read the results of a test he ordered. Another Mayo doctor said we would be better off going to Johns Hopkins.

After first seeing Dr Wang my wife and I were excited. He listened and said all the right things."Don't worry we will get to the bottom of this" 1 month later after phone calls and emails I finally hear back from him a short Voicemail telling me that after the extensive blood work" and it was" he could find nothing and I should see my regular Dr. What happened to we will get to the bottom of this? Why did it take a month? Did he just drop me because I made a pest of myself?

Brilliant, compassionate, personable, great communicator, decisive. Could not ask for a better rheumatologist or a better human being!!

After being given a terminal diagnosis by a local rheumatiologist ( who did no tests)I saw Dr. Wang for a second opinion. I did not have the terminal diagnosis but Dr. Wang diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. He is a skilled physician as well as a caring individual. I know have him for my rheumatiologist despite the 3 hour drive to Mayo Clinic.
