My son has PTSD . We visited the ER and had a very bad experience. He did everything that the medical profession says not to do to a patient with PTSD. This caused my son to have an attack and get violent. Dr woods just kept yelling at him and even followed my son to hospital door. He kept harassing my son and would not back off.I have never had such a bad experience with a doctor that kept yellingAbout working for the VA. I have no respect for this man!

I went in to get a sickness checked and a messed up elbow. My elbow had started to inflame and get very hot. I saw doctor wood and within 10-15 seconds of being in the room he said it was bursitis and gave me a rx for a antibiotic. I asked what would cause it and he said it could be many things and ended right there. I still have a horrible cough that he didn't even take time to address or ask about. He seemed very rushed and wanted to get onto his next patient.

The ONLY reason I put he didn't follow up is becasue there was no need. I simply needed a note for work stating that I indeed had the stomach flu. He was very kind and QUICK to help without skipping necessary steps. He still took the time to check me out without just asking basic questions and then leaving it at that. I appreciate the fact he also did not spend a lot of time asking me strange questions not related to my cheif complaint. I was in and out and able to go back to bed.

Doctors should have integrity. If they say they are going to prescribe something, they should do it. I shouldn't have to go to the pharmacy to find out that he didn't do what he said he would do. There's a reason why people should only go to an Instacare doctor in a pinch (Dr. Woods), because they are not going to receive the same level of care that they would from a PCP.
