Dr. Benjamin John Wycherly, MD

If you experience eBPPV and/or vestibular migraines, Dr. Whycherly is your man. I love him as my Dr. He’s well versed in otology medicine and neurotology which makes him great for patients with BPPV/vestibular migraine, etc. I see him for both BPPV and vestibular migraine management. He’s absolutely wonderful. His staff is great too - very friendly on the phone and always pleasant in person. I saw him in the Farmington office which is located right off the highway. There are a few other offices in neighboring towns which makes in convenient for Connecticut residents. I highly recommends Ear, Nose and Throat Institute of Connecticut - you’ll be in good hands.

?Can’t express my gratitude enough. Was on the treadmill when I received a call from Dr. Wycherly’s office informing me they could fit me in at the last minute. I called earlier in the day because I was experiencing vertigo w/ certain head positions. (BPPV) With messy, salty hair and skin I could not run out of the gym fast enough. Dr. Benjamin J Wycherly is an excellent communicator: he asks questions, and is open/receptive to your questions. He an active listener: he not only hears you—he listens. You feel heard. He’s informative; explains medical terms and his diagnosis/conclusions well. He’s disarming, and has a relaxed, compassionate, down to earth disposition. He’s intelligent and competent— you feel assured under his care. He’s easy to trust. A+, solid physician all around. The staff is affable, and cheerful. Office is well-kept and adheres to Covid safety protocols.

I was referred to Dr Wycherly by my regular ENT due to more complex ear and sinus issues. He was friendly and listened to my complaints and history. He took the time to show me inside my ear and nose as well as CT scans to show me the problem. Dr Wycherly was a competent surgeon as well. I am very impressed with him. Highly recommend him!! The wait time was under 10 mins for each appt also.

I’ve been suffering from vertigo for 10 years and saw other “experts” in dizziness and vertigo. No one could help me. I finally found Dr. Wycherly and he took the time & figured it out. I have been so much better for the last few years since I became a patient of his! I can’t understand why his rating is not 5.0 it should be!

Had three appointments with this doctor first one he did not have the correct chair to perform the maneuver correctly, 2nd time problem was not fixed same for the third visit I have a $50 co-pay I have still not paid the co-pay and probably won't no follow up from the doctors office still have the problem

Went for followup Appointment after fluid blockage. During the followup exam (which I was charged a routine fee) the Dr cleared out some wax from one of my ears. Took less than 30 seconds. Got my bill and was charged 119.00 for removal of earwax. In my opinion this should have been part of the routine exam.
