Dr. Benna Strober, PsyD

Saw her for years and never made any progress. She never talked about anything substantial or offered solutions. $300 per session for talking to air. She’s part of the Westchester legal network… they refer business to their friends. If you want a real therapist, look elsewhere.

Dr Strober was fantastic! She was diligent, thorough and always focused on the children. She listened, and gave them reasonable advice and feedback. She was always professional and made the children feel as if they were receiving sound advice.

Strober was an absolutely terrible therapist for my children. So bad that the divorce court had her removed. In a year and a half of therapy she (a) did not once arrange a meeting between me and my oldest son, (b) never took seriously my concerns that the children were being alienated by their mother, (c) had the audacity to get my children to contact my cancer-ridden father without even raising the possibility with him. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
