I knew for quite some time that I needed to see a dentist. I hadn't been to a dentist in approx. 10 years. But, one aggravating tooth was making itself known and when I woke up one day to find my face swollen I knew that meant - tooth infection. No more putting off. I tracked Dr. Hammett down, made an appt. for the next day and nervously went in. What was I scared of? Dr. Hammet and his assistant handled everything. I had waited to long for a root canal and they had to pull the tooth. If I would not have looked like a silly old woman I would have ran out after that news - my biggest fear! But you know what? It wasn't to bad at all. I am now 5 days after the pulling and back to my old routine. Ibuprofen has been my friend and handled any pain. These folks took great care of me and helped me through a scary time. I'm a little less afraid of the dentist.
