Dr. Bennett A Lewis, DO

Three times this practice has lost/misplaced my health records. I can also speak to all of the reviews about this doctor jumping to a prescription medication. He insisted on prescribing me a medication, and thank goodness I looked into it. Because they had (once again) misplaced my records, he had prescribed me a medication I am allergic to. When I reminded him I was allergic to it, he got very angry and raised his voice at me for not telling him (which I had told him and was included in my records). The missing records mean that every time I try to get a prescription filled I am told he needs to see me because he "hasn't seen me in 2 years". I never leave reviews, but I would not recommend this doctor, or his staff, to anyone. I've also noticed members of his staff writing reviews to bump his review score, which is extremely inappropriate.

Worst practice ever. As a primary care provider, they do not ask relevant questions to problems and are quick to prescribe rather than advise. Perfect for an addict but not for patients. No one answers the phone so you are depending on a return call which never comes so you are forced to make an appointment ONLINE ONLY. When your HMO requires a referral, this doctor does not know the proper procedure nor will they respond to the request in a timely fashion, if ever. Not worth the headache or the stress. Primary care is laughable when it comes to Dr. Bennett Lewis.

They triple book appointments and the dr doesn’t know how to do electronic scripts.

you can tell hes on meds. worst doctor and worst staff ive ever witnessed. i wouldnt reccomend him to anyone ever ! they never pick up your calls and never listen to there voicemails. ive called daily and no one picks up.

All this doctor cares about is getting lab work done on you! Every time I need to refill a medication and call him, the office says the doctor needs to see you, and do lab work, he wouldn't even give me one day supply to hold me over...I got very sick because of his incompetence, I cannot afford lab work...he does not care less and NEVER calls back to talk!

Dr. Lewis has been my primary care physician for over a year. Over that year my health as improved dramatically because of the course of treatment he has me on. My condition requires weekly visits and every time I am there the staff is professional and courteous. The wait times are minimum, the waiting room comfortable more but more importantly the medical care I receive is top notch and his bedside manner excellent. He listens with the intent to understand and treats the patient not just the condition. I am blessed I found him!

I waited for an hour and fifteen minutes before finally leaving. I waited so long because I thought that he might be worth the wait. While I was waiting, the lady at the front desk had to go outside for a couple minutes. I was the only patient left and I told her I was fine with it. The doctor came out and when he realized she wasn't there he started looking for her but he was acting like a child. I told him where she went and he went outside and shouted toward her for her to come in. He was rude and disrespectful toward her, and as he came in he exclaimed by saying "Jesus Christ!" After that, I was unwilling to wait for this rude child of a doctor.
