He was my neurologist on and off for over 5 years. He prescribed me Tramadol for migraines knowing I have epilepsy. I had a seizure after taking 1 dose and I hadnt had a seizure in over 10 years. If my husband wasnt home when this occured this could have been much worse and I may not be able to review today. I have been told that he can't be held accountable. If you are looking for a neurologist, please look somewhere else because it can be a life or death decision.

He is one of the Best Neorologists! Cannot imagine having a more caring, patient, encouraging uplifting Dr. He LISTENS, He Explains and even when there is no cure for what you have - you learn to laugh not cry. You begin a patient/doctor relationship that YOU have to been honest. Do not feel alone make an appt with Dr Rosenthal!

My husband had Parkinson's and was a patient of Dr Rosenthal's for many years. He was always kind, courteous and caring. He listened to concerns and we never felt like we were hurried or just another patient.

Dr. Rosenthal and Susan are incredible. With two nervous disorders I Having Myoclonus Dystonia with Hunting's Sydenham's Chorea with at birth he has helped me tremendously. We have been able to find medications that I take for my disorders, which have no cure. Both have become a huge part of my health, giving me renewed self-confidence, self-esteem. He is down to earth and we have formed an important bond . I can be myself - tell him what is new with my disorders which are very rare and in one body having both disorders. After being diagnosed at Shand's Neurology Department in Gainesville, Fl which took nearly 6 months to diagnose I needed to find a Neurologist closer to where I live. My family practitioner sent me to Dr. Rosenthal, luckily in the same building. He and Susan are incredible. I would not to see any other Neurologist. So personable I can speak to him - tell him what is going on with nervous disorders. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering or… looking for a Neurologist. I have been a patient of Dr. Rosenthal for many years. Not only a true gift of a doctor, but very personable. He does treat his patients as though they are simply a medical chart. This is truely one of the most knowledgeable and caring medical professionals. Susan, Dr. Rosenthal's nurse, is truely lovely and caring as well. I have never been treated less than perfectly and cared for by both. This is a duo on this earth with wings.

I work in the health care field. Neurologists tend to be super smart doctors who aren't always savvy when it comes to people skills or bedside manner. After a terrible experience visiting another neurologist, an appointment was scheduled with Dr. Rosenthal for a second opinion. Dr. Rosenthal was a breath of fresh air. His office is located at Health Central, a very nice, modern hospital with warm and inviting staff. His office suite was clean and inviting and he actually sees patients in his personal office as opposed to an exam room. There is an examination bed in the back of his office but for the duration of the appointment one can sit in a guest chair and talk to the doctor like a business client would on their first consultation. He took the time to listen, was a thorough listener, and was very respectful. He didn't jump to conclusions, try to rush the appointment, or push prescription drugs as the panacea. I strongly recommend him.
