Dr. Benoit Deki Kouame Tano, MD

After skin test and blood work for allergies, and blood panel from a yearly physical, then lots of questions, Tano was able to unravel my symptoms into two different medical issues/problems. (It was NOT anxiety or depression) My I am so glad I was referred to him. His advice and the vitamins and minerals he suggested did make me feel much better. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I’d hoped to get more advice on how to solve my issues thru adding or subtracting foods or avoiding weeds. Etc. but only was told about pills. They DO help, but are so expensive. PS. Everyone should get their vit. D level checked at their next appointment. It’s worth the $68 out of pocket.

I have never seen a more thorough MD

I was referred to Dr. Tano due to more than extreme allergies. He ran a very routine skin test and didn’t find anything dramatic. He ordered extensive blood test which I completed at Quest Diagnostics. Dr. Tano said there were no significant findings. I also purchased some very expensive vitamins and I don’t feel any better. I called a month ago to schedule another appointment and was told by the front desk that she didn’t know the doctor’s schedule and he would call me. I’ve never received a call from him! I suggest you find another physician.

Treats causes not just symptoms

When I called his office, the phone rang and rang before some woman with a heavy accent answered. The prices I was quoted was extremely high. He is more of an integrative doctor than an allergist. He's not someone I would want to see when I have allergies. He doesn't have a lab to draw blood, so you have to drive to another company that does it for him. Bad setup. I left a message for him, but he never returned my call.

Dr.Tano was amazing, I feel that be understood my problems, and I left with hope and a plan of action.

I thought he was great, but after I told him I didn't have the money to buy his bioidentical hormones and supplements, I couldn't get him to respond back with my test results.
