Dr. Berchaun Haldane Nicholls, MD

Dr Nicholls is a true professional and excellent practitioner. My mom was admitted to the ER due to a car wreck. Dr Nichol quickly and efficiently took care of my mom despite working a ER that was operating at overcapacity. Thank you Dr Nicholls!

I had a really bad earache and was in an extreme amount of pain. I made a decision to go to the ER instead of waiting to go to Walgreen's clinic because Walgreens didn't open until 9:30 (in about 3 hours). It was hurting that bad. Doctor NIcholls looked in my ear for one second and said "you have an earache" then he left and did not return. He did not explain the prescriptions and would not give me anything else for the pain except ibuprofen which I had been taking for two days without avail. The ear drops he prescribed were anesthetic but nobody explained that to me. Later, I went to Meharry and was told I had a perforated ear drum and given the appropriate medications including a shot for the pain. This was a really terrible experience, part of which embarrasses me--but the truth is he should be embarrassed for even thinking about treating a patient in so much pain so poorly. I would never recommend him! Honestly I think what he did to me was immoral and cruel. I was not in… the wrong and I was treated like human garbage.
