Dr. Berj Toros Kalamkarian, MD

Dr. Kalamkarian's bedside manner is terrible. He is patronizing, aggressive, antagonistic, arrogant and sanctimonious. Once I sat through what I'm sure he thought was a lecture full of sage advice which basically boiled down to "Buck up, whiny, I don't see any visible shrapnel, your pain is all in your head", I got shuffled off to his NP, who was just as much of a jerk and has the bonus of having once been a real, live quackâ??the guy used to be a chiropractor. This fellow, while not denying I had chronic pain, treated me like a criminal trying to score a kilo of heroin every time I mentioned my pain or even asked for a refill. Pain management has turned into a practice tailor-made for doctors who would not be practicing medicine if they didn't sell hope to desperate people.

the reason i came to this office was because of Dr Kalamkarian, i love this man. And a good doctor he was. Ever since he had retired the office has changed. A herd them in like cattle concept, where compassion has been replaced with greed. When it comes to pain it's the whole being that needs to be dealt with..... i will never return

I have been very pleased with the service and professional services of these office.

My experience with these professionals today was unimpressive to say the least. This lack of customer service skills in this office is unforgivable. Dr. Kalamkarian himself has been the only reason I have continued to be a patient. However, I spend the least amount of time with him and that is no longer enough to keep me coming back. Bad behavior should not be rewarded and its time the Health Care "Professionals" start reflecting their title. This is a competitive field and the customers do have options. Those of you who feel as if you have been mis-treated in this type of setting, speak up, its time for a change.
