I have a pretty varied RN experience history working in several different departments in the hospital setting. This experience has provided me a solid background upon which I have expanded upon in my Nurse Practitioner role. I have been working in SubAcute Rehab, Long term Care in Skilled Nursing facilities and Assisted Living Centers for the past 11 years.I believe in treating each patient/resident individually. Incorporating their past medical history, current health status, religious values and goals of care into their treatment plan. Often times this includes communication with family members as the older population often times relies on their children or other relatives to assist with decision making and offer support. It also includes education on their medical condition to better help them in the decision-making process.
