Dr. Bernadette Hernandez

Bernadette Hernandez is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut with more than 7 years of experience. She works with children, adolescents, and individuals that are seeking help with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, peer relationship issues, mood disturbances, and stress management issues. Bernadette received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health, and continued her education by earning her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from Southern Connecticut State University. Bernadette utilizes a collaboration of cognitive behavioral (CBT), solution focused (SFT), relational, strength-based (SBT), and mindfulness-based (MB-CBT) techniques. Bernadette creates a safe therapeutic space where one can feel heard, understood, and supported while working to navigate through life’s issues.
