Orders useless, expensive tests- she is only focused on increasing profit for CHDK/Sentara.

I have been taken my kids to Dr. Leidel for 13 + years. She is a great physician and has a wonderful demeanor. She knows how to communicate with the kids and the parents about anything minor such as getting rid of the pacifier or dealing with an extremely serious illness.

I found Dr.Leidel after spending a terrible year with my daughters prior doctor! The moment that I knew that Dr. Leidel was the one was when my 15 month old was happy to go to the doctor office! All the nurses has always been friendly and my daughter enjoys getting gifts from Dr. Leidel ( books during annual ) she makes her patients feel important! She never rushes us and always answers question from the silliest to the more seriousness! PCD

She is an amazing Dr. She is great with all 3 of my children.. When coming from a small town to a city I was worried about finding a good Dr. for my children.. Sense the Dr. that we left behind was actually my Dr. when I was a child.. So those were hard shoes to feel, but I think she has done a great job of making us feel right at home...

Dr. Leidel mentored me during the summer for a senior high school project and there was never a moment where I doubted her quality both as a doctor and as a person. She is extremely intelligent and reliable and truly cares for all of her patients. She inspires me to be a great doctor.

My daughter had upper respiratory infection.I spoke with Dr.leidel about a year ago about the smoking in her mother home and nothing is ever said to them.Even at follow up nothing was said. staff including dr. leidel smelled smoke on my daughter its written in her chart that grandmother smokes, father has spoken several times to dr.and this issue is never addressed. 2nd hand smoke one of leading causes of upper respiratory infection.
