Dr. Bernard Mark Davidoff, MD

My physician for 40 years. Simply the best anywhere.

He is very thorough and draws on his years of experience and latest research which has resulted in taking life saving actions for both my wife and me.

Dr. Davidoff is an internist, and is very knowledgeable about all aspects of medicine, and I consider him the CEO of my health staff. When I need outside help, he gets me in to see the doctors he sees when he needs to see a specialist. Don't ask him a question unless you want the truthful answer. He must have failed sugar-coating in med school, which is fine with me.

He listens, he pokes and prods and gets to the source of the problem.

Very gruff, unpleasant, cranky and condescending. An unfortunate example of a doctor suffering from "God complex"-- he doesn't seem to realize when he's talking down to you because he talks that way to everyone (his staff included). Not a nice person.

I have been a patient of Dr. Davidoff's for more than 20 years. He is the best doctor I have ever used. So smart, caring and I have never waited more than a few minutes to see him.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Bernard Davidoff for over 15 years. We trust his judgment and evaluation very much. One time, we were in another doctor's office, we were told that Dr. Davidoff is a doctor of doctors. No wonder. Although we stop visiting him regularly due to our medical plan, we still visit him when we are in need of trusted treatment. It is worth it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Davidoff for about 10 years. He is caring and thorough. I enjoy his personality, and we have had a number of interesting discussions about a variety of subjects.He could appear to be gruff or short, but he is looking for your feedback during a diagnosis. If you give him inaccurate info, you will not be doing yourself justice.If you are looking for pleasant bedside manner, go see Dr. Kildaire, or the doctors on Grey's Anatomy. I'll stick with Dr. Davidoff.

He was fine but had an attitude and frankly admitted he was tired of medicine. He missed my shoulder pains as possibly being heart related. AFTER a near heart attack he visited me in the Hospital. His direct quote to me: "You said it was your shoulder." I told him to get out of my room. I'm sure this happens but I think he could have been more assertive in testing and evaluation of my concerns and problems.
